This slab of Fluorite has been on my mind, as it sat in a corner of the studio and I whizzed by month after month, and thought, “I’m gonna make something out of you”. It was perched and primed, the silhouette of the brooch already drawn out on it. Yet I passed it up day after day. Yesterday, I said f** it. The time comes every couple of months where I have to make a piece just for me. Not that I keep it, but something that ignites a little something, feels new. So the fluorite Terra Brooch it was.
